Do you know how to update your Genius Solutions' Authorized Caller list for your office?
We've made it easier - now you can do it from THOMAS!
Version 9.5.18 of eTHOMAS, released May 31, 2016, has Authorized Callers built-in, to add and edit.
To access the Authorized Callers form, go to the Utility tab, select Settings, then Contacts.
Click on the Plus (+) sign to add any and all staff members who should be authorized callers. Print the list and fax it to Genius Solutions.
Office's will need to assign access to this area, just like any new feature in eTHOMAS. Go to Utility | Settings | Groups, edit the desired group of user, scroll to the Utility category and set the Contact to the desired access level.
Did you know you could mark a patient as inactive in eTHOMAS, so that they don't show up in a patient search?
To mark a patient as Inactive, go to the patient's information screen, and use the Flag drop-down menu to choose "inactive".
Once you have marked a patient as "inactive" they will no longer show up when you do a quick search for patients. This will cut down your search time on current patients.
However... If you do find you need to seach for someone who may be inactive and you want to seach ALL of your patients, including those flagged "inactive" all you have to do is change the checkbox, at the Magnifying glass search. Simply select the "Show Inactive" checkbox. And you will get everyone who is inactive along with everyone who is active. It's Genius!
